Terms of Service
Effective date: 26 June 2026These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites and applications operated by Discus IT Pvt Ltd ("Diskus", "we", "us"), including Diskus AI Email, Bhagya Jyotish, Odin, Greenbox, and other products in the Diskus suite (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The minimum age to use Diskus services depends on the specific application. By creating an account, you represent that you meet the age requirement for the services you use and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Children under 13 (COPPA compliance)
For child-directed applications, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, contact us at hello@diskus.ai.
Users aged 13–17
Users aged 13–17 may use applications marked as "General audience" (13+). By using these Services, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and, if under 18, that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Parental consent for minors
If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have a parent or legal guardian review and accept these Terms on your behalf. The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor's use of the Services.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. A single Diskus account may grant access to multiple Diskus applications through our central sign-on platform (Astra).
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We may suspend or disable accounts that show signs of compromise.
- You may not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts for the same person.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Send spam, phishing messages, or other unsolicited communications.
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorization.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or other users' accounts.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Resell, white-label, or redistribute the Services without our written agreement.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Services except through our published APIs.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to content you create, upload, or connect within the Services (mail, documents, charts, settings, messages). You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Services on your behalf — for example, storing and transmitting your messages when you ask the email client to send them.
- We do not use your content to train AI models or for advertising purposes.
- We will not access your content except as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law.
- When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
5. Google user data
When you connect a Google account (Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google sign-in), we access only the data necessary to provide the requested feature. Our use of Google user data is governed by Google's Limited Use Requirements and our Privacy Policy.
- We access Gmail data only to display, send, and manage emails at your explicit request.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer Google user data to third parties except as required to provide the Services.
- You may revoke Google access at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting within the app.
6. Third-party services
Some features connect to third-party services (Google, Microsoft, Telegram, Twilio, and others). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies; our handling of data received from them is described in our Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. You release us from any claims arising from your use of third-party services through the Diskus platform.
7. Beta features
Features or products marked as alpha, beta, preview, or in development are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may have reduced reliability compared to generally-available Services. We may collect usage data from beta features to improve the product.
8. Payments and subscriptions
Certain features require a paid subscription. Payment terms:
- Fees are stated in Indian Rupees (₹) or US Dollars ($) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
9. Intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, and branding, are owned by Diskus and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or source code except as separately licensed.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Services without our written consent.
10. AI-generated content
The Services include AI-powered features (summaries, suggestions, categorization) powered by local or cloud-based language models. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying AI outputs before relying on them for important decisions.
AI features that use local models (Ollama, LM Studio) process data on your device or self-hosted infrastructure — no data is sent to Diskus servers for these features.
11. Astrological content
Astrological content in Bhagya Jyotish is provided for informational, cultural, and entertainment purposes. It is not professional, medical, financial, or legal advice. Do not make important decisions based solely on astrological readings.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diskus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or ₹5,000.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Diskus, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
- We will retain your data for up to 30 days to allow for export, then delete or anonymize it.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability, governing law) will survive.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
17. Dispute resolution
Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to contact us at hello@diskus.ai to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved through good-faith discussion within 30 days.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the Services or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may terminate your account before the new Terms take effect.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
20. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Cancellation & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Diskus regarding the Services.
