Data Deletion

You can delete your Diskus account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page describes exactly what happens and how to do it.

1. Delete from within the app

Where available, use Settings → Account → Delete account in the application. Because Diskus uses a single sign-on account, deleting your central account removes your identity from all Diskus applications.

2. Delete by request

Email hello@diskus.ai with the subject “Data deletion request” from the email address on your account. We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days, confirming by email when done.

3. What gets deleted

Routine backups containing your data expire and are overwritten within 35 days of deletion. Records we must keep by law (for example tax records of payments) are retained only as long as legally required.

4. Google-linked data

If you connected a Google account, you can additionally revoke Diskus's access directly at your Google Account permissions page. Revocation immediately prevents further access; deleting your Diskus account (sections 1–2) also removes data already received from Google from our systems.
